Let's Get Acquainted
Hi! I'm Dana, the author of this blog, Remnant Design. I live with my husband Larry, a retired airline pilot, in a cute little cottage in the Pacific Northwest. We live on an island with a stunning water view, 3/4 of an acre, and a small Shih Tzu, Dallas.
I have a lot of creative energy, probably more energy than actual talent. However that doesn't stop me from embracing a craft-filled, DIY life. I love to cook, sew, knit, and bring repurposed life to vintage things. I also love to travel the world, camera in tow.
Larry is an incredible woodworker and builder, as well as kind and patient with my zest for home makeovers. He has taken so many of my dreams and made them reality.
Hopefully our blog will be a resource for creative ideas.
